Festive Period at The Boat

As we lurch towards the end of one of the weirdest years most of us can remember, we thought we’d let you know what our plans are to try and still make this a special time of year, despite all the constraints and restrictions. Please note that some details may change if the government changes the rules regards opening times and who can meet with whom and in what sort of numbers. In the absence of any changes please click here to see what the current situation is.

Week commencing 30th November

The warm-up towards the festivities begins with the following

  • Christmas tree and decorations up
  • A host of new dishes onto the menu including a couple of traditional seasonal favourites like Turkey and Christmas pudding. For the avoidance of doubt, we shan’t be doing any set menus.
  • Mulled wine on the bar/drinks list

We will be open for food from 12.00 until 8.45 pm and will be closing at 10.00 pm

Weather permitting (ie not raining), from 10.00 until 12.00 we’ll be serving mulled wine and mince pies outside, with all the money going to the local Rainbow Centre which does so much good for so many local people. This should be perfect for setting you up for a decent walk or for recovering afterwards!
