You’ve probably all heard the latest statement by Boris and the government, advising as many people as possible to work from home and to avoid visiting pubs, clubs and restaurants. This puts us in a very difficult situation as we need to decide what is best for our customers and equally as importantly our staff, as well as having an eye on the business as a whole.
Having listened to a number of our customer and staff fears and concerns regards passing anything on prematurely to elderly or infirm family or friends and with a view that we will probably be forced to close in a week or two anyway we feel that on balance the right thing to do is to temporarily shut up shop at the end of play this Mothering Sunday.
Along with the rest of the country, we will continue to monitor the situation, listen to the “experts” and crystal ball gaze regards when we may be able to reopen. Right now we are perhaps optimistically thinking a month but we’ll keep you posted.
In the meantime, we hope you all stay happy and healthy.
Sorry, but we’ll be temporarily closed until Wales’ COVID alert level drops to level 2 or below, which should then enable us to sell alcohol and open in the evenings.
