On New Years Eve Day, we will be open for food from 12:00 until 2:00 and closing at 3:00 to get ready for our New Years Evening tours of the world.
Since travelling around the world isn’t an option for anyone at the moment, we thought we’d bring some tastes of the world to you. We normally see New Year as essentially a relaxed evening of eating and drinking before kicking back and hugging, kissing and dancing our way into the next year. However, since all this is off the cards at the moment, we thought we’d flip things around and go for a slightly more dressed up occasion focused on a seven-course tasting trip around the world.
We will also be offering you a matched set of wines to go with the menu and a cocktail list for the night
Assuming there are no changes in the law and that we still have to stop serving by 10.00 pm and that everyone needs to have disembarked by 10.20 we will be taking pre-paid bookings to start your tour from 5.00 pm with the last reservation being 7.00 pm. Obviously the earlier that you start the longer that you can linger and still have plenty of time to get home and see in the New Year!
For those that fancy dressing up a little, why not imagine you’re joining the “Captains table” in a port of your choice.. the worlds your oyster or cocktail or… whatever
If the above appeals then please email or ring the pub to discuss choices, availability and to prepay. We are just doing 90 odd covers so that there will still be room for those that just want to meet friends for a drink, so please book early to avoid disappointment.

This will not be available to book online.
Sorry, but we’ll be temporarily closed until Wales’ COVID alert level drops to level 2 or below, which should then enable us to sell alcohol and open in the evenings.
